No Monica. Don’t demonise the Police. We, the elderly, believe in Law and Order. They protect us.
Police are servants of the populace and adversely influenced by politicians. Bring down the Masters not the servants. Same applies to ADF.
If you denigrate these bodies you will alienate most of the elderly and they contain the wisdom of years.
Verification and context are important when we are trying to ascertain the validity of what is observed in this footage. I think its important that these elements (verification and context) are provided so we can determine from both a policing and civilian perspective what has actually transpired as apposed to the visceral and emotional response that it evokes. I have worked with many excellent police over my time as an ADF soldier and also with some very average ones, we were also expected to use our powers of discretion which may have been helpful in this instance.
Sorry Monica. This is another video, well filmed and edited. With people playing victim to alleged police wrongdoing. I did not think you were going to go down this path. Very disappointing. I thought RDA was our future but obviously it is influenced by anarchists.

Many now fear the police. They behave as they are a law in themselves and instantly put fear into obeying citizens. They are doing as they are told but so did the german authorities in the holocaust. I have met many ex police who left the service due to the corruption and lack of dignity now in the roles they play in so called protecting. ? its devastating to believe they are moving towards policing people when they are trying to defend our/their human rights.

Well debated MICK2E. You are obviously well versed in debating principles. As you are aware ,”playing the man” or personally attacking your opponent is unacceptable. Use argument of logic not emotion.
For others, this is how civilised discourse takes place and is currently used by the ones we hope to depose. Most politicians have a background in Law. Keep up the good work MICK2E, gather a like minded team around you.
