NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian resigns amid probe by anti-corruption watchdog

New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian has resigned amid a probe by the state’s anti-corruption watchdog.

ICAC on Friday announced it would investigate Berejiklian for potentially breaching public trust regarding her relationship with former MP Daryl Maguire.

Berejiklian was on Thursday night informed ICAC would be issuing a public statement, announcing the investigation, and said she had “no option” but to resign.

  1. 1 criminal pretending to be legit, down.. =), I find this equation funny, if you remove every criminal in a government position, every position of decision would be completely free. Remove them, and it returns the ability to dictate how we live back.
