I am a nurse at The Alfred and am required to be vaccinated by October 15 2021, I need a plan B.I have attempted to enlighten union Alfred that perhaps Rapid Testing might be the way to go as the important point in the workplace is that one has a negative covid test, vaccinated or unvaccinated. This is the only question that matters IF the purpose is to stop transmission of the virus. Backed up by a public health campaign on immune system building through nutritional medicine. Simple.

  2. Most important question upon entry to ANY establishment/workplace: Are you Covid negative?
    Vaccinated and Unvaccinated individuals can and do acquire/transmit the virus.
    An employee at any establishment, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, OH&S must ensure employees, patrons, etc are not infected with the virus. Duty of care, the only way this can be achieved is by a RATesting or PCR. If an employee patron etc is infected(cold ,flu, Covid) whether vaccinated or not must and should isolate until recovered .Logical sequence…
    Eventually this will prove too cumbersome, paving the way for public health promotion regarding immune and nutritional medicine building exercises.
