Profile
Phillipa is a registered kinesiology practitioner who is passionate about helping people feel good in their own skin and getting them back on track.
Having spent her life being the shoulder to cry on and providing a listening ear, Phillipa has built her career to help people get the most out of life and push through comfort zones to personal growth by embracing life’s challenges.
Her clients often come to her questioning their purpose, suffering after a loss, or struggling with stress and anxiety. Driven by her empathy and understanding, Phillipa provides a safe environment to explore their emotions and feelings at a deeper level.
Phillipa worked in the corporate world for over 16 years, but realised that it was not a great fit. Although she thrived on the stress and pressure, it was at times overwhelming and she constantly had a niggling feeling that she wasn’t doing what she truly loved.
Phillipa began to search for “what she wanted to be when she grew up”. She knew that she was different from most people, feeling and expressing emotions more than others do and having a unique ability to see and provide a fresh perspective for others.
Drawn to kinesiology for its ability to pinpoint the emotions that need addressing, throughout her studies Phillipa often found herself counselling her clients rather than doing traditional kinesiology work.
After graduating, Phillipa began experimenting with her own style and now incorporates talk therapy into her kinesiology offerings. To further support this, she has recently completed her Graduate Diploma in Psychology through Monash University, continuing on with honours in 2022, and is currently studying to be a Lifeline crisis support volunteer.
Phillipa personally challenges herself in her own life in order to not only “walk the talk” but also to learn and grow so that others can benefit from her experiences. Having dealt with grief and trauma in her own life, Phillipa strives to assist you through yours.
Her favourite quote is from Carl Jung: “Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
Phillipa looks forward to helping you be ok with being you.
