Diena is the Managing Director of The Speech Pathology Practice Pty. Ltd. delivering focussed, functional, dynamic and results-driven therapy. With over 40 years of clinical experience across metropolitan, regional and rural health contexts in both NSW and Queensland including public and private hospitals and community health centres, non-government organisations, private practice, Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service, Brain-Injury Services, Aged Care facilities, Schools and Universities and more recently the Northern NSW Local Health District, Diena brings a wealth of clinical, management and health services experience .

Additional to her specialist field of speech pathology Diena has experience in a diversity of professional roles including lecturer, manager, governing council member per public health Local Health District (LHD), allied health manager, and tertiary level/university supervisor providing both peer support and mentoring to fellow clinicians and undergraduate students.

Diena’s special clinical interest areas include:-
-Paediatric-adolescent and adult Autism, ASD, ADHD, behavioural issues and therapy for speech, language and cognitive disorders.
-Adult Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Brain Injury and Stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia and associated neurological and cognitive disorders and therapy.
-Neuroplasticity and applications in rehabilitation.
-Music therapy and applications in communication and rehabilitation.
-Telehealth therapy and case management services via phone, Facetime, Skype, Zoom and a range of other electronic applications with appropriate confidentiality credentials.
