PURPOSE
United Services Workers Association are surveying midwives to uncover the current working conditions and work load issues being experienced over the past 3 years.
The importance of this survey is that it highlights the mistreatment of mums and families in hospital and birthing sessions because of restrictions and changes in birthing protocols or staffing models, as well as the excessive loading and mistreatment experienced by midwives and supporting staff.
WHO
The survey was written by midwives for midwives and will cover off on a number of topics impacting that sector, its workers and the families they support.
