Message from the Staff Group:
These 24 Qantas Group staff, are standing up for their rights, principles and ethics. They feel the company has given them no option, but to challenge the mandate in a court setting, to expose unfair treatment, breaches of the terms of their employment contracts, and breaches of 5 ACTs of parliament written for the protection of all Australian employees. Companies only have a state mandate to hide behind. Mandates are not laws. Employees have the Fair Work Act, the Discrimination Act, The Privacy Act, the Work Health Safety Act and the Australian Human Rights Act. All are Laws. None of which have been suspended, revoked or terminated by the mandates – they still have to be followed. Standing up for the freedom to choose, is a fundamental, Australian democratic right.
