So far, RDA volunteers have gone far beyond the call of duty to help several candidates from numerous parties. I am very proud of every single one of you who put a flyer in a letterbox, spoke to your friends, or helped coordinate an event. You have all played such a huge role in this campaign, but it is not over yet 🙂
The most important part is still to come…polling booths!
Pre-polling starts on May 9th through to election day on May 21st.
May 9th – 13th (open from 8am – 8pm)
May 14th (Open 9am – 4pm)
May 16th – 19th (open 8am – 8pm)
May 20th (open 8am – 6pm)
May 21st (Open 8am – 6pm)

VICTORIA’S BUSIEST POLLING BOOTHS BASED ON 2019 ELECTION
You don’t need a team or party to volunteer for, just head on down and get started. I’ll tell you how 🙂
- Go to www.majorslast.com and make your own How-To-Vote-Cards.
- They print out just like a proper flyer which explains the reason for the order of preferences.
- Print out a few hundred, or more, and head down to the polling booths in your area. You can get them printed at Officeworks or support a local business instead. Alternatively, you can print them out in B&W from home.
- Hand out copies to people and say something like “if you think we should vote the major parties out, follow this How-To-Vote-Card”. Hand it to them and go to the next person.
Notes
- Polling booths can be very busy and hectic so you might not have long to talk to people. If they do engage in conversation, that can actually be a bad thing because it will distract you from getting to other people.
- Of course, it will be good to go with a friend for moral support, but there will be plenty of others there too.
- Don’t be put off by someone snubbing you…it’s all about numbers. Regroup and continue. You got this!
