Please note that the following advice does not cover every risk or employment scenario. Please use it to consider your own situation carefully. 


Your boss wants all employees to be vaccinated. Your boss states that it is the company’s duty of care to provide the safest work environment. Your boss also mentions that if the company knowingly sends an unvaccinated worker that has coronavirus to a client, the company and its owners could face big fines. 

When you have a chance to respond, this is what you could do: 


1. Don’t refuse when you’re first informed about the new policy. Say that you will  give it due consideration 

2. Ask your employer for their risk assessment that shows an unvaccinated person being at the workplace. This risk assessment is required under  Australian law and must be completed at the actual workplace. The persons  completing the risk assessment must also include a good cross-section of the team (not just senior management) 

3. Ask for the Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) on the vaccine. The vaccine contains  toxins and if the workplace is implementing it, they must by law provide a MSDS or SDS 

4. Ask for written evidence of what big fines the company could face 5. Request that your employer provide extensive scientific evidence to prove the vaccines are Safe, Effective and Necessary. See definitions and questions below.

COVID-19 Vaccine Risk Management (CRVM)

• not able or likely to be lost, taken away, or given away
• not involving or likely to involve danger, harm, or loss.1
Questions to ask: Question #1: Is there a possibility that you could be hurt or harmed in any way by taking a COVID-19 vaccine? 

Answer: Yes. Possible side effects for the vaccines listed below:
Comirnaty (Pfizer)2 
Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca)3 
Spikevax (Moderna)4 

Question #2: Is it possible or are you likely to lose, or have something given or taken away? 

Answer: Yes. You could lose your job by helping implement the “No  Jab, No Job” policy. You could experience a miscarriage due to taking the vaccine. There is evidence that miscarriages can occur after taking the vaccine most commonly between 6 and 10 weeks.5 If there is a  chance of miscarriage, then loss is possible albeit “rare”. There is also your loss of the right to choose what medical procedures are performed on your body and your children’s bodies. 

Question #3: Is there a risk of danger, harm or loss due to taking the vaccine? 

Answer: Yes. Even if serious injuries or deaths are “rare”, there are multiple adverse reactions that are deemed “common”.

Questions to ask: Question #1: Do the vaccines produce the desired effect? i.e. do they reduce the symptoms of the virus? Do they stop transmission? Do they stop you from getting the virus? Is herd immunity likely to be achieved if everyone takes the vaccine? 

Answer: There is evidence that COVID-19 vaccination reduces the chances of severe symptoms.7 However, there is also evidence that indicates you will experience the same mild to moderate symptoms if you take the vaccines which include: tiredness, headache, muscle pain, fever and chills, joint pain and nausea.8 “Similarly to Covid  positive cases, most people who have an adverse reaction to the  Covid vaccine recover without medical treatment.”9 

Vaccines do not stop you from getting the virus or transmitting it.  Evidence suggests vaccination reduces transmission by 40 to 60%.10 “Unfortunately, the vaccine’s beneficial effect on Delta transmission  waned to almost negligible levels over time.”11Hence the need for booster shots. There is mounting evidence that indicates natural immunity is stronger and longer lasting than vaccine induced immunity.12 So you can catch the virus whether you’re vaccinated or not. 

Herd immunity is not likely using the currently available COVID-19  vaccines. “I think we are in a situation here with this current variant where herd immunity is not a possibility because it still infects vaccinated individuals,” Sir Andrew Pollard, head of the Oxford  Vaccine Group. One of the developers of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Necessary • so important that you must do it or have it : absolutely needed • unable to be changed or avoided.13
Questions to ask: Question #1: COVID-19 has a recovery rate of 97 to 99.75%.14 Why  is it deemed so necessary that we vaccinate against a virus that  appears to be just as deadly as influenza?15 

Answer: It’s not absolutely needed. 

Question #2: Is it possible to change the type of vaccine or can vaccination be avoided altogether? 

Answer: There are vaccine alternatives that are potentially going to be available in Australia soon. This includes: Novavax16 and Covax17.  It is not necessary to take the vaccines as natural immunity does lessen severity and prevents reinfection for a period of time.


Queensland’s Guide to Informed Decision-making in Health Care18 (Guide) defines  informed decision-making and informed consent as follows: 

Informed Decision-Making 

Informed decision-making is the two-way communication process between a patient and one or more health practitioners that is central to patient-centred health care. It reflects the ethical principle that a patient has the right to decide what is appropriate  

for them, taking into account their personal circumstances, beliefs and priorities. This includes the right to accept or to decline the offer of certain health care and to change that decision. In order for a patient to exercise this right to decide, they require the information that is relevant to them. 

Informed Consent 

For the purposes of this Guide, consent means a person’s agreement to the provision of public sector health services. Informed consent means that a patient has received the information relevant to them to make an informed decision and they have given permission for the health care service to be provided. In an ethical sense,  the agreement by a patient to receive public sector health services reflects the endpoint of a process of engagement in which one or more health practitioners have supported the patient to come to an informed decision to agree to the health care offered. 

In a workplace scenario, the employer is enforcing a rule that all workers must receive a medical procedure to protect all workers and broader community. The worker essentially takes on the role as the patient as referred to in the Guide. For  your informed consent to vaccination to be valid, the following principles must be  fulfilled: 

• the patient has the capacity (ability) to make a decision about the specific issue  at the specific time, and is not affected by therapeutic or other drugs, or alcohol • the consent is voluntarily given, and free from manipulation by, or undue  influence from, family, medical staff or other social coercive influences • the discussion between the patient and the health practitioner is transparent, well  balanced, and involves two-way communication which is sensitive to the  situation 

• the patient is able to clearly understand the information because it is provided in  a language or by other means the patient can understand 

  • as far as possible, the patient is advised in simple terms of: 
    • the diagnosis
    • recommended health care, including the expected benefits, common side effects and alternative health care options the material risks including complications associated with the recommended health care 
    • alternative health care options 
    • a decision not to receive the health care offered 
    • any significant long-term physical, emotional, mental, social, sexual or other  expected outcomes 
    • the anticipated recovery implications 

the patient has sufficient time to consider and clarify information in order  to make an informed decision, taking into account the context of the  clinical situation 

• the information provided and the consent given relating to the specific health care provided. 

What is Coercion? 

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines coercion as follows: 

• to make (someone) do something by using force or threats; or • to get (something) by using force or threats.19 

Taking the above information into account, all workers have a right to choose whether they receive a vaccination or not. The issue here is that the employer is influencing the outcome of your decision by threatening you with termination of your employment. Your employer is coercing you to decide which directly influences the outcome.


1. Are you working in a high-risk industry? See example list below: 

• Emergency services personnel, including frontline police officers, fire and  rescue personnel, corrective services officers 

• Rural Fire Service and State Emergency Service volunteers 

• Active Australian Defence Force personnel 

• Australian Government officials about to be deployed or currently deployed  overseas on official government business 

• Workers involved in manufacture of AstraZeneca vaccine and  distribution/delivery of COVID-19 vaccines 

• Workers at licensed meat processing businesses 

• Workers directly involved in the manufacturing and distribution process, where  the work is in a cold environment and workers are unable to maintain physical  distancing requirements 

  • Includes: 
    • Abattoir workers, including attending veterinarians
    • Workers in boning rooms
    • Smallgoods manufacturers 
    • Cold chain transport workforce 
    • Seafood processing 
  • Does not include: 
    • Retail workers including butcher shops, fishmongers
    • Primary production workers, including fishing 
    • Clerical workers

If none of the above, then the risk is generally lower. Remember, each employment scenario is different. Risk is assessed by calculating the likelihood and consequence of a negative outcome. i.e. how frequently or likely could the negative outcome occur? How severe could the outcome be?

2. Are you living in a cold environment where the virus can flourish? The warmer the environment, the lower the risk potential. 

3. Are you working indoors or outdoors? Indoors = higher risk, outdoors =  lower risk. 

4. Are you working in close proximity to other workers or members of the public?  If working closely with others (e.g. indoors, multiple contact with other people = higher risk. If safe distancing can be achieved (e.g. outdoors,  little to no contact with other people = lower risk. 

5. What are my chances of catching COVID-19 that has a recovery rate similar  to influenza? E.g. In Queensland if you work around 10 unvaccinated  people not wearing facemasks for 8hrs you have a low risk or around  4% chance of catching COVID. Use this calculator to see your risk  score:  


6. Likelihood that COVID cases will rise when borders open up. It is highly  likely that COVID cases will rise when state borders open up, so the risk  of catching the virus will increase. Based on current studies if you are  vaccinated = slightly lower risk of contracting COVID than if you are  unvaccinated. If you catch COVID, stay away from people to prevent  transmission. Most cases are mild. 

7. What is the risk to my employer’s business if we have a COVID case caused  by an employee? Cases are going to rise whether you are vaccinated or  not. COVID case caused by a vaccinated or unvaccinated person will  cause a similar amount of negative publicity. Bear in mind that a lot of  companies will be in the same position. Essentially it will be similar if  you catch the flu. If you have it, stay home and don’t spread it. 

8. What are the risks associated with taking the vaccines? Each person’s  health should be considered independently. i.e. if you have underlying  health issues, you may be more susceptible to adverse reactions from  the vaccines. Older person with underlying health issues = higher risk.  Younger person with minimal underlying health issues = lower risk. This  risk is the same if you catch the flu.


PPE should be considered reasonable for any employee not working in high-risk industries to use rather than a vaccine. Implementing a medical procedure that is still under trial and has no real long term health data should be considered an unreasonable control measure when taking COVID-19 statistics into account. 


If you lose your job because you refused to take a mandated COVID vaccine and the documentation (mentioned on page 1 of this document) you requested was not supplied or sufficient from your employer, your employer may be liable for unfair dismissal. Lodge an “unfair dismissal” claim through FairWork.20 


If you were asked to take a medical procedure in order to work, but your employer  couldn’t prove or confirm that the procedure was:  

• 100% safe, effective, and necessary 

• Able to provide 100% protection, even 50% protection against the virus • Able to prevent transmission of the virus; then

    Just over 12 months from deployment of the COVID 19 emergency use experimental vaccines, scientific studies in the thousands, and reports of criminal complaints of assault and murder from the illegal, unlawful use of biochemical poisons made to police forces around the country, verify an assault on an unsuspecting UK population. Irrefutable science shows that the COVID 19 vaccine is not safe and not effective in limiting transmission or infection from the SARS-CoV-2, coronavirus pathogens.

    The “safe and effective” false propaganda, put out by public officials who now are continuing to push this vaccine, is a clear breach of duty. A public office holder is subject to, and aware of, a duty to prevent death or serious injury that arises only by virtue of the functions of the public office.

    Many have breached that duty and, in doing so, are recklessly causing a risk of death or serious injury, by carrying on regardless of the now-confirmed dangers associated with COVID 19 injections.     All of these are confirmed in the following science-and-government-gathered data from the UK Health and Security agency on COVID 19 regarding vaccine damage.

    The term “vaccine” was changed recently to incorporate this illegal, unlawful medical experiment to facilitate usage of mRNA technology that is demonstrably not a vaccine, and which contains biologically toxic nano-metamaterials associated with 5G urban data gathering capability.

    Metal nanoparticulates are known in science to be genotoxic—a poison that can also cause sterilization. The dangers posed to the victims in the near term from this medical battery are now known. However, the long term lethality of this weapon is not as yet realized due to the debilitating effects it has on the immune system, causing Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome(AIDS).
